Marking the trail around Lake Baikal
Within the last years many volunteers from all over the world helped to build lots of sections of the Great Baikal Trail, which at the end will be 1800km (more than 1100 miles) in length. In order to help tourists find the trails we are constantly erecting signs.
Nevertheless, lots of discussions with the administrative institutions in Russia are taking place every year to reach agreement about how the signs should look.
However, the signs are only financed by donations. We are very pleased about every donation made helping us keep the project going on.
