Hike around the island of Olkhon in March 2003
In the past years we have been attracted by Siberia's winter again and again. The fear of the Siberian cold has given way to the enthusiasm of the fascinating winter scenery. In March 2003, we hiked on the ice of Lake Baikal from the most Southern point of the island of Olkhon to Ussuri. At night, we pitched our yurt and strengthened us with fried or raw Omul.
